The recording device used when recording a voice track from the segue editor window. The device chosen here should not record audio that is played back to avoid music from being recorded into the voice track recording.

When you start recording, this is the number of seconds from the end of the previous track you will hear.

The location where the voice track recordings are stored on disk. Click the Browse button to find the folder on your system. Remember to ensure there is sufficient disk space to store recordings at this location.

The audio format of voice track recordings. High bit rates are of high quality but take up more space on disk.

Use these settings to automatically reduce the volume of other plays when a voice track is played.

Cue point analysis

6. Cue point analysis
When a voice track is recorded the volume of the voice track is analysed for cue in and out points. Use these points to set an appropriate level of silence.

Default gain

7. Default gain
When a voice track is recorded use this volume gain by default. This can be used if your microphone level is consistently too quiet without gain.

Default playout log editing mode

8. Default playout log editing mode
You can restrict users when remote voice tracking by allowing them to either edit the full playout log for the hours they have access to, or only allow them to record voice tracks and adjust their segues. This setting can be overridden on a per-user basis.
