Futuri AudioAI Breaknote behaviour
Overview
The Futuri AudioAI Breaknote feature enriches your radio programming by automating talk breaks through advanced AI algorithms. It crafts talk breaks based on your selected preferences, integrating them seamlessly into the radio playout system for a dynamic, live broadcast experience.
Adding Breaknote Items
You can incorporate Futuri AudioAI Breaknote items into your playout log in two primary ways:
-
Via Clocks: Use Clocks, the pre-defined templates, to schedule the layout of a radio hour, including Futuri AudioAI Breaknote items. When a Clock is scheduled into the playout log, it automatically populates the log with the Futuri AudioAI Breaknote items.
-
Direct Insertion: Alternatively, you can manually add a Futuri AudioAI Breaknote item directly into the playout log through the main desktop interface.
Sequence Workflow and Behaviour
Basic Sequence
-
Item in the Log and Request: When a Futuri AudioAI Breaknote item appears in the playout log, a request is sent to the Futuri AudioAI server. This request includes metadata about the three preceding and three following tracks of the type "Song."
-
Audio Storage: Once generated, the talk break audio is downloaded and stored in a specified data folder, where it's retained for 24 hours post-airtime.
-
Real-time Updating: Fifteen minutes before the scheduled airtime, a new request is sent to the server to refresh the talk break content if necessary.
-
Segue Adjustment: The system fine-tunes the segue to create a smooth transition between the talk break and the adjacent songs.
Sequence with Music Bed
To add a music bed during the talk break, arrange the items in the playout log as follows: Song > Futuri AudioAI Breaknote > Bed > Song.
Audio Layering: When this sequence appears in the log, the system will layer the talk break audio over the tail end of the preceding song and the designated music bed.
Bed Fading: The music bed will fade out as the next song begins.
Sequence with Opener combined with Music Bed
To add a opener combined with a music bed during a talk break, arrange the items in the playout log as follows Song > Opener + Bed > Futuri AudioAI Breaknote > Song
Setup: Edit the Opener + Bed track so the Cue Out point is set to when the opener voice ends. Ensure the Type is set to Bed.
Audio Layering: When this sequence appears in the log, the system will layer the talk break audio after the Cue Out point of the Opener + Bed track.
Important Considerations
Duration: Ensure that the music bed is long enough to cover the entire talk break.
Type Labelling: Designate the music bed with the type "Bed" so the system recognises it as such.
Song Metadata: Accurate song metadata will assist in generating more contextually relevant talk breaks.
Troubleshooting
No Audio: If no talk break audio is generated, double-check your server connection. You may check the Futuri AudioAI > Generation status window for information about generated talk breaks.
Incorrect Segue: If the segue doesn't seem to align well, review the Early Out, Cue Out, and Intro points of the tracks.
